Steve is the Founder and CEO of MarketSphere. During his career, he has built and managed several business advisory and technology consulting practices from inception to successful and profitable operations. As the founder of MarketSphere, he directed the launch of this new business, architected its business strategy and operating model, and evolved the business through rapid growth and expansion into a leading business advisory and technology firm. Prior to founding MarketSphere, Steve started his career at Andersen where he launched the business consulting practices in Omaha and Kansas City and served as the Managing Partner for various market and solution practices across the region.

Steve stays actively involved with the sales and delivery of services to MarketSphere clients. He believes that it is important to stay actively involved with the “business of the firm” in order to gain the first-hand understanding necessary to make the right management decisions. This philosophy is enforced with all members of the Partner group making MarketSphere a “best place” to work and the firm-of-choice with many of the leading companies in each of its markets.

Steve is also a strong advocate for community leadership and believes that companies of all sizes share in the responsibility of creating and sustaining a strong and vibrant community environment. He is a board member of the Boys and Girls Club of America and serves in leadership roles for both the United Way and American Cancer Society. Leading by example, he balances his business responsibilities with several civic and community board assignments resulting in MarketSphere’s routine recognition for both its business success and its community leadership and contributions.
